R6, P2, VLCD 16 - Boring, Boring, Boring

My day was just that...boring! I had all of 20 minutes of work the entire day and that was it. I spent the majority searching news articles online or talking with the firefighters. They were bored too. Not sure what it was, but it was slow all around. Thankfully, I only work four hours but geeze! It shouldn't feel like an eternity is passing. I hope tomorrow moves a little more swiftly, especially with the treat hubby has planned for lunch.

It is the one place where I can eat out on protocol and not get in trouble (well, not really--I've seen other bloggers cheat and eat the other goodies they sometimes offer). It's a Mongolian BBQ place. I get my tiny bit of meat and then load up on veggies. This round, I'm going to go completely nuts with the celery. It is truly the best way to eat it, save dunking in ranch or peanut butter which I cannot do at present. I always have to ask the chef not to use oil on my meal and they are happy to oblige, opting for water instead. I hope they are still as courteous. It's been a while since I've been there and I don't want to have to leap over the counter and tackle somebody for messing up my lunch.

Even my girls enjoy this place. My youngest loads up on noodles and lots of chicken; my eldest goes nuts for the tofu and crab meat, while hubby gets the spiciest sauces he can find. It will be so nice to have somebody else cook for a change, although I don't think I do such a shabby job. I just need to learn how to stir fry with no oil. It's obviously a gift or a skill I need help with.

I steamed an entire cabbage tonight, which should hold me over until Sunday or Monday. I also bought some butter lettuce to make a salad tomorrow night for dinner. I'll be eating the last of my crab legs. Yum! Before I forget, I had a .6lb loss, putting me at 189.2lbs. I had hoped for a "movement" this morning, but no dice. Sigh. Hopefully, I'll have something vacate in the morning. Here's what I had tonight:
