Holidays Make it Hard
I didn't keep up with the daily plate like I wanted to, last week. I did splurge a bit, but not much. Today's weight was 175.6, just after coital fun. I wonder what it was before then? Anyway, then we went nuts on McDonald's southern style chicken sandwiches. Yummy, but certainly not good for me (and no workout today). Despite what I typically do, my but may be getting up to get in an hour of cardio to make up for today's damage.

Actually Posting on a Saturday
So, I am 177.2 pounds today. I was digging through archive listings and seeing how I constantly battle these twenty or so pounds, each time dropping a little lower than the last time. Wouldn't it be crazy if I made it into the 140's this time? I might go into a fit or something! Still on the supplement with green tea, this time around. Had to take a caffeine pill because we were at the dealership and there was no green tea. Bummer. I really do prefer the tea. That form of caffeine seems to suit me.


(Human hair? Hmm...not sure I'll go there, but I do wear wigs with human hair....)

Another Goal Met
I'm so happy! Fifteen pounds gone (178.6), but boy it took a bit to get there. I will post the happy weight today, even though it's not Saturday, here in this post. I thought I'd reach the second goal a lot sooner than I did. Is it my age? Does it have to do with the activities I'm choosing for workouts? Yesterday, I turbo jammed my way into a major sweat. I was so sore last night, afterwards! Wow! Moving away from the elliptical turned out to be a good move. I hope to try out the P90X this week at some point. Not full force, but tweaked for me.I'm using the supplement, minus the caffeine; however, I do drink a hot cup of green tea with it. I'm after the antioxidants and the more natural caffeine for aid. It does make a difference, I've discovered. Without the "boost" from the caffeine, I was feening and craving within an hour of two of taking the supplement.
Wearing my lashes today, too (they're much more subtle than the picture above). Not looking as glamorous as I'd like, because I only have a bit of blush on and lip gloss with them (they really pop if you wear liner and shadow underneath, but I didn't have time). I do know that I will get better at application, now that I'll be able to wear them more regularly. They are lovely.

No workout today, unfortunately...but I did get to hike up six flights of steps because of the stupid elevator. Nice. Anyway, tonight was back-to-school night, so I couldn't even squeeze one in. Ate lots of salt yesterday. Bad, bad, bad! Worked out this morning on program four and burned 300 calories. It's lunch time, and before eating, burned 300 calories on program three. Trying to drink away the bloat. I'm missing the supplement! TOM will be pushing it's cravings on me next week. Cycling back onto the supplement, couldn't come at a better time. I'll have to write off this day, since I had the "Bento box from hell". That was the best description they had, here at daily plate. I didn't have teriyaki chicken with mine, but I did have an additional 5 pieces of tempura and pot stickers.
Hubby BBQ'd tonight, so I'm done for. Did work out this evening and burned 300 calories. Also incorporated some arms weight training. [edit this diary entry]

I feel clean...inside and out. I'm still eating more fast food than I need to, but much better eating than before. I also lost a bit last week and am close to my 15 pound loss goal. I hope I come even closer once the supplement begins again next weekend. Again, I am not incorporating the caffeine this time. It was a nightmare to come off of. I don't know how coffee addicts do it!

A Discovery Regarding the Supplement
I was reading information about my homemade supplement that I saved and I discovered that the initial effects last for two weeks. I lost eight pounds in the first two weeks on the supplement, when I first started using it. I continued to lose after that initial drop, but it was much more steady (not as drastic). I eliminated a portion of the supplement because of my stomach issues (I have high acid) and I plan to eliminate another portion, only because of the addictive properties. There is a substitute to combat my stomach woes, but when I tried it, I found the canker sores came back with a vengeance. Low stomach acid, but more acid in my mouth (I guess?).I wonder if it will have the same effects? I suppose if I don't see the same results in the first two weeks, I'll reincorporate the missing element (or it's more natural counterpart). I'll keep a close eye on it and see what happens. I'm very motivated, which is what has been missing for a bit.

About Two Weeks Behind
Yep, I'm not doing as well as I should with keeping this up, but I'm doing quite well on the daily plate. (Two weeks worth below). I'm finally back in the 170s, hitting 179.4 on Saturday. This after eating breakfast and getting on the scale and eating the birthday pizza the night before. How long will I be here, I wonder? I'm about a pound away from my goal of fifteen gone, but boy does it feel good to be so close! I feel better, look better, and my clothes are loose. I begin the supplement again next week (minus the caffeine. I just can't handle it!). I hope it still makes a difference in how I eat. Cycling off, by the way, has been very good for me. I'm glad the "trainers" suggested this.

It's sort of crazy. I pledged not to go nuts with the Babe's birthday party, and I kindof did. I ate two slices of delite pizza and a slice and a half of regular pizza, along with several ounces of Hawaiian punch and rum. Shortly after the eating, I had the BM to end all BMs (I know, TMI). Was it the oatmeal and triscuits cleaning me out? Probably. Whatever it was, I woke up feeling lighter, but I didn't weigh (I regret this, now).
After breakfast, I was still doubting how I felt. Could I really still feel lighter, even after breakfast? So, for kicks and giggles I stood on the scale. What? 179.4? What would it have been before breakfast, I wonder? I may have hit my second goal and didn't even know it. Dang!
No workout, yet. There's a kid still here. I have to do my youngest's hair and Henna mine for several hours. We'll see how it goes. [edit this diary entry]

Didn't workout today. Went to dinner with friends at the Blue Iguana, which was lovely (but nothing as good as the Red Iguana). Took a percaset at bedtime for pain and lived in the land of hallucinations most of the night. Didn't sleep well at all.

I'd Really Like to Make My Goal, This Week
Saturday was a total bust, but Sunday was better. Today has been okay, but the cravings are still really strong (even with the supplement). I'd love to meet my next goal by this weigh day, Saturday, but I'm still bouncing around the same number within one pound of last week's number. Bummer. At least there isn't a major gain.
So, I'm going to kick up the workouts and try really hard to meet the second goal (especially since I'll be cycling off the supplement, starting this weekend). I'm major nervous about that. Here are the journal entries:

Still Moving Along (and last week's journal)
I'm a little nervous about cycling off the supplement, next week. I was off it for one afternoon and had a screaming headache that carried into the next morning. Not good. Caffeine is the devil! I will be living on Tylenol, I guess, while the addiction dissipates. I'll be glad to be off of it completely (I'm hoping) by end of October. Goal reached? We'll see.

I miss my hubby, but he doesn't seem to miss me not one iota. Anyway, worked out in the evening, thinking I'd only be on for 25 minutes, went the whole thirty and burned 447 calories. Went to lunch with a friend today and did a very good job of maintaining (aside from the salt). Three supplements today: 7:00am, 11:30 and 5:00pm. Made a huge difference. Let's Log a Week's Worth at a time
I'm just not keeping up on here as well as I'd like to, so I've decided to post my journal entries in week long increments. Of course, I'm farther behind than a week this time, but I'll get better.
Today's weigh in (even though it's not Saturday) was 182.4 after my workout. Sweet! I'm just at the ten pound mark, which means I'm only five pounds away from my first goal. It's hard, but so worth it. I've got so many clothes just waiting around for me to be a true 10 again. I'm excited to look cute for my Nashville trip, too. All the more enjoyable when you're not painting out of breath from being over weight...especially in that humidity.

Feeling pretty good. Took my coworker to lunch today for being so great to me, earlier this week. We ate at my favorite Thai restaurant. Very healty, but I had to guess on the calories. Also had a coworkers sinful brownie for desert, but I didn't inhale it, as I'm prone to do with such things. Worked out in the evening, burning 711 calories on the ellipitcal (50 minutes). Talk about binging. Today and yesterday, I tried my supplement without the aid of caffeine. Obviously a bad idea. Not only did I hae massive headaches, but I ate eveything I saw! I will not do this again. I will keep up with the supplement for the alloted six weeks (as planned) then, ween myself off (with the aid of tylenol, if necessary). Our biannual faculty meeting this week. Today was our day to man a table for our department. Of course, everything was catered and I took a lot of guesses with the amounts for today's meals. I did work out when I got home (41 minutes and burned 600 calories). Saturday's weigh in may not be so great this week. [edit this diary entry]
