R6, P2, VLCD 30 - Yep! It's Really Day Thirty (Thirteen is Hiding)

Don't know how I documented and missed day thirteen on my blog, but I'm very grateful that I have my "paper" log to refer to. I realized that today is actually my thirtieth injection. That means ten more days and I'm done with poking myself. It's really not a problem, but I'm always afraid I'll forget. One less thing to worry about each morning.

Today is my eldest daughter's thirteenth birthday! It's been quite a nostalgic day. I went through the details of her birth, as we traveled to one of the local amusement centers (for her free, all-day, pass). She didn't ask any questions, which surprised me; however, her sister piped up wanting to know her own birth story. I told her she'd have to wait until her birthday (6 months from now).

We shopped for tennis shoes, bras, flip-flops, earrings and purses. She then took her birthday coupon
to Baskin Robbins and received a free ice cream cone (I truly believe in signing up for everything...if we still had a Blockbuster in our city, I would have taken her there for her free movie).

I just finished baking her birthday cake, slicing her strawberries and pureeing her cake sauce. She's really looking forward to the party tomorrow. Only three of the girls alerted her that they wouldn't be there, but this is Utah. We're expecting the normal 6% in attendance. Hopefully, she'll be satisified with whomever decides to come.

I had a minimal .4lb loss this morning (putting me at 181.2lbs), but I also had another void...then another at work. I drank all my water today (I wasn't as successful yesterday, getting in about 48 ounces) and am indulging in a small sipper of Smirnoff Cherry Vodka. Lovely! It's been a rough week for hubby, who decided to take out a bit of his frustration on me tonight. I'm even more grateful for my "sipper" so I don't end up putting him out. Ugh! Hopefully, he'll be in his right mind once he eats.
