R3, P2, VLCD 5 - Weekend Highs

I guess I'm destined to have high calorie counts on the weekend. I was really happy to see I had a loss this morning (if not completely surprised); however, I'm pretty sure that trend will disappear tomorrow, as I've had another 800 calories day. Certainly not on purpose, but the body needs what it needs, right? The calories came in the form of additional protein. I'm not sure why I need it, but as soon as I have it, I'm good. Not full, but continent. The weekdays are always better.

Here's what happened:

McDonald's hooked me up "protein-style". Now that I know they can do it without trouble, I know how to order in P3 with success. Can't wait for the cheese. Oh, how I miss the cheese! I had a 1.2lb loss this morning with a weight of 154.6lbs. For the first time in my life, today, I told my mother my weight and she said, "That's good." She's the reason for some of my body issues. I'm really reeling over the fact that she thought the 150's was good. She said, "We tend to have bigger body parts and that's a good weight." Wow.

R3, P2, VLCD 4 - Rock 'n Roll Red Renegade

Whoa! I totally went over my calorie limit today (but I do have somewhat of a reason). Normally, I keep my activity level to a minimum during a round; however, today, I was running around everywhere, even participating in some limited exercise! I know. For shame, for shame. So, I was ravenous and my calories went up to around 800. I don't suppose I'll have the awesome losses I've had over the last few days, when I wake up tomorrow to weigh. I'm okay with it and will make changes tomorrow (it will be a low-activity day with just church and resting at home).

My hair is sooooo red. It's crazy red, but I like it and so do my girls. I'm giving the bleaching a rest for a while, since I've noticed some damage. I'll be covering it up this winter with my pieces. Even for our family pictures this year, I'll break out the synthetics.

The damage is below:

R3, P2, VLCD 3 - Candy, Candy, Candy

(The subject in my best "Halloween Garfield" voice). My girls went to my office today to trick-or-treat. My company has expanded to additional floors, so that meant lots and lots of candy. They've even decided to forgo trick-or-treating in the neighbor, because of all the candy. I suppose the 41 degree weather and rain prediction added to the decision process. They had a really good time and I'm glad I got a chance to see people I haven't seen in a while.

I'm going a bit "renegade" with the protocol and indulging in sugar free dove. Hey, if the kids can gorge on all the stuff I love and I can't, I should at least be able to forgo the Wasa or Melba for 2 pieces of Dove Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Cremes (1 serving is 5 pieces). If the scale is unfriendly tomorrow, I'll know better for the future:

I was another 3 pounds down this morning (I guess the pre-load super gorge really makes a difference). I was 157lbs this morning. I'm doing pretty good, this go round. Hope the psuedo chocolate doesn't sabotage things.

R3, P2, VLCD 2 - Glittery Girls

My girls dressed for Halloween tonight. The youngest for dance and the oldest for school. They had lots of fun, but I cut it short because of the other festivities this weekend. Tomorrow, they'll go to my office and collect bags upon bags of candy. Tomorrow night? A local, community party at the Junior High school. Kids here will trick-or-treat on Saturday and Sunday this year. What a great time to start a round, eh? (even if it is short).

Here's what I had today:

I had a three pound loss, this morning (the weight was 160.4lbs). I didn't get in the full 500 today; sometimes this causes problems with the protocol, rather than a boost. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

R3, P2, VLCD 1- Remember How it Goes

Yesterday was rough, but not as rough as I thought it was going to be (in terms of the diet). I had a rougher day due to more personal issues that I hope have calmed down since last night. The meals were small, but satisfying. Hubby called and was about to ask what he should bring home for dinner and then caught himself, "Oh, you already have your food." I had to remember, "Oh yea. I do." So, it was chicken, cabbage, lean hamburger and a pickle for the days' nutrition. I still have a mild headache and will carry one, probably until Saturday morning. I haven't forgotten the three day hump.

Here's what was on the menu for Wednesday:

I started Wednesday at 163.4lbs, so my loading wasn't as fantastic as it was for round 2 (I was closer to 170, for round 2).
