R2, P2, VLCD 24 & 25 - A Perfect 6

Yesterday was a bit chaotic and I was unable to post, so I'll double-up today to make up for lost time. As I'm working from home, I realize that lunch hours are even more precious. If I can get away from the house and just breathe, it's a good thing. I took the girls to Ross Dress for Less and decided to figure out just what size I really am. None of my jeans fit anymore (12s and 10s) and I was thinking an 8 would be good. So, into the dressing room I went with a couple of 8s from different designers and a size six (just to see).

Lo and behold! I couldn't believe my eyes! The eight gaped so bad in the back with the "boyfriend" jeans and fit nice and loose with the Calvin Klein's (which usually run a little small). I put on the Levi 6s and just about hit the floor. They fit perfectly. I-have-never-in-my-life-been-a-size-six. Even in high school, I ran around a 10 or 11 (I was pretty busty and things never fit properly above and below at the same time). I had a breast reduction in 2003 and things changed dramatically; however, I still wore 10s and 12s because, by then, the bottom half was big from child-bearing.

Anyway, I am pleased as punch to be in what I've always considered to be the perfect size. In ten pounds (which is all I have left), will I be a four? Who knows, but I'm very happy with the way things are right now. After hubby found out, he took me to the mall to try on shorts and jeans for him to see. I think he was just as flabbergasted as I was. Boy, wait till he sees me in that bikini!

Here's the food information from yesterday. I ate more protein at hubby's request (hope I'm not starting to look "crackish" to him. Lol):

I was down 1.4lbs on June 18th with a weight of 145.4 (June 17th was 146.8lbs). This morning, I'm down only .4 (probably because of the additional calories, but still a loss) at 145lbs even. I will try to post today's food intake later this evening.

*UPDATE*

It's 8:01 pm. Here are today's meals:

Congrats on the size 6 jeans, and being so close to your goal! I figured you had to be about a 6, since dresses tend to be sized smaller than pants, and your Easter dress was a 6. Way to go! You'll be there before you know it!

How kind of you to remember about my Easter dress. I didn't know that! I thought dresses were a bit larger than pants. Wow! You learn something new everyday. I suspect your probably a two or a zero, now. You're so tiny! I bet you're just loving it!
