R2, P2, VLCD 17 - Miso Yucky

No. The miso was not yucky (totally playing on words in my title today). In fact, it was wonderful (and I'm hoping okay for protocol: broth, leaves, small bits of tofu) but I feel yucky. The weather has been flip-flopping again and I think I've caught a cold in the process. I've been downing the tea and, instead of my typical veggies for dinner, I opted for miso soup. It felt so good on my throat and in my tummy. Aside from the salt, I don't think it will do much harm.

I was down one pound this morning. Much to my hubby's delight, I tore off my shirt and asked him how much he thought I weighed. Instead of giving me an answer right away, he asked if I'd demonstrate again, but more slowly. Silly man.

Anyway, he finally said, "Um, 148?" He totally nailed it. I guess that's why he's a pro bodybuilder; he knows bodies. He also said my legs were so much smaller. Well, yipee! I'm glad to be leaving "Thunder-Thigh Island."

I was 148.8lbs this morning. Again, I'm hoping the salt from today doesn't deter progress. I'm still having much better loses than I did in my first round. Woohoo!
