P3 Day 4 - Doing Better

I weighed just slightly above the 2lb margin on my scale that reads in .5 increments. It's very possible that I was back where I needed to be, but there was no way to tell. So, I skipped breakfast (to be safe) and had a light lunch. For dinner, I indulged with Chicken Saag (I adore Indian food!) and gave my Naan and Basmati rice to my children. Of course, they didn't like them so, hopefully hubby will indulge.

After taking the eldest to dance, I went and bought the scale. Yes! I'm already feeling better (but I should probably not get too excited just yet). The scale looks like the one on the left. It's not my "Thinner", but it will do.

Here's my menu for the day:

April 14th, 2010

Calorie goal:
1,109; calories consumed: 681; calories burned: 0
Net calories:
681
Mood: Okay

The steak day seemed to help, but without my scale that shows .2lb increments, I can't tell if I'm back down to within the margin or not. I will not eat breakfast, have my light lunch and a full protein dinner today. I have to buy that blasted scale! [edit this diary entry]

I was 160 on my .5 increment scale, so I decided to eat today. I think I did okay, but definitely too much salt.

You're doing great! I just wanted to say in regards to the new scale, be prepared for some variation in what it says you weigh, don't let that throw you. For example, the scale I have now tells me I'm 5 pounds heavier than my previous scale. I would weigh myself on each scale, go with the new number on the new scale, and carry on. At least then you're not fretting over any artificial gains or losses. But I'm sure you already know all this, just tryin to be helpful :)

Actually, this was helpful to hear because I woke up with a 1.8 gain from yesterday. It could be the scale, it could be the salt, and it could be TOM. I decided to go ahead and do a regular P3 diet today (forgoing another steak day for a bit). Then, if things are still problematic even after TOM high-tails it outta here? Then, I'll do another steak-day.

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Susan. You have no idea how much it means. :)
