39 VLCD - You Got to Have Friends

As I wind down with the protocol (maybe sooner than I anticipated, since my HCG is wearing very, very thin), it's good to reflect on some of the aspects that are essential in getting to goal. One of these is the need for support and friends. Sometimes you find support in the most unusual places. I spoke to my sister today and had a good discussion with her about how we mentally change our mindset. For example, emotional eating may never completely go away but we can learn to manage the feelings better. We've never had a conversation like this before and I found a bit of support, just in our brief conversation.

When I post on message boards, there is sometimes an outpouring of advice that makes me feel so important. Other times, I can search the web and ask questions of Bloggers who have been on the same path. It's absolutely necessary to have these connections, or I think making this journey would be so much harder.

Once I move into phases three and four, I'm sure I will continue to have questions and search pages for answers. I'm just so glad they're out there and so readily available. I hold up my decaf coffee with Stevia in a toast to friends.

I stayed the same today, but drank all my water like a good girl. I also laid low on the salt. Hope it helps the numbers tomorrow. Here's what I had:
