I love this stuff! It truly makes me want to sing, with how good it smells and tastes. The girls were thrilled and drowned their Basmati rice in the amazing sauce. I ground up cauliflower into a "rice" type consistency and it was amazing that way for me. It's definitely a staple in this house. Everyone loves it. I don't have the recipe documented via the way I make it, so I'm not super sure on the nutritional information. I hope the "generic" I found on My Plate comes close.
Because of the sad, puppy-dog eyes I got when I made the Key Lime pie for the office yesterday, I picked up all the ingredients again and made a duplicate pie for my family. My youngest raved and I'm hoping hubby will indulge in a piece or two.
The day was pretty boss, but it didn't start off that way. Early this morning (around midnight), I was tossing my cookies. I guess my body rejected the Carl's Jr. burgers I had last night. It was terrible being awakened by nausea. After the vomiting, I felt better but the nausea didn't completely go away. This morning, I worked out then made breakfast for my girls. I didn't make my own, but opted for an omelet from a local eatery (along with some cottage cheese). As predicted, the nausea wore off and I was hungry. It took about an hour to consume my breakfast, but it sure was tasty. I didn't have much of a lunch (a cheese wedge), and saved my appetite for dinner. I know. This should be the exception, not the norm. I'm eating big tomorrow morning, medium for lunch and then a small dinner. I gotta get that imbedded sooner rather than later.
The purging, I'm guessing, is what produced the .6lb loss. I'd like to think the work out helped but, who knows. I was down to 166.8lbs this morning.
Here's what I had (not happy about the increased sugar intake, but none of it came from refined):

An airy, forty-something water-bearer that marches to the beat of her own drum. I'm a wife, a mother of two and avid animal lover. I also love to travel and may one day make that part of my profession.
