I'm sitting in the middle of my officer's meeting taking minutes while I type this post. I did pretty well today and actually missed the city official's meeting that I was slated to go to (I had a child call home sick). I ate my chicken at home and took care of her, while relaxing, drinking my tea and watching way too many episodes of Deadly Women.
As of tomorrow, I will only have one more week of this and I'm looking forward to chowing down on my chicken Tikka next Saturday. My youngest, however, has booth work for Girl Scouts both Friday and Saturday of next week.
Friday is also tryouts for cheer. I took my eldest to the city pool and talked to the coach about tryouts and the commitment to the team. She seemed psyched. Once she tryouts, she'll make a decision on what she wants to do (if she makes the team again). She also mentioned that cheer could lead to a scholarship in the future. My girl!
I had a .4lb loss, taking me down to 171.2lbs. Here's what I had today:
An airy, forty-something water-bearer that marches to the beat of her own drum. I'm a wife, a mother of two and avid animal lover. I also love to travel and may one day make that part of my profession.
