I was able to make it through work today without croaking too terribly to all my students. I'm still dealing with a lot of coughing, stuffy nose and mucus issues. The medications are good, but make me loopy. Tonight, I'm having a hot toddy with Stevia and whiskey to try and clear out my chest for good. We'll see how that goes (I usually use Brandy, but that won't work on the protocol; too much sugar).
My mother sent me a message today about my oldest not going forward with competition next year. It was all about overcoming obstacles and not letting others get you down. I can appreciate everything she said, but I'm still conflicted. I'll talk to hubby and the eldest about it to see what they want to do.
Here' what I had today:

I was 169.2 this morning and was glad of the release. The girls had chicken fried steak for dinner and this was the first day in a few days that my nose got into an argument with my brain. My nose was trying to tell my stomach that chicken fried steak smothered in gravy would be delicious. My taste-buds and saliva glands sided with my nose. When my stomach started churning, I knew they were getting ready to have a pep rally. Then, my brain stepped in and reminded everybody about my tummy and hips. I have approximately 18 more days of this to endure before P3, so my nose had better get a grip and stop trying to raise a raucous.
