R6, P3, Day 10 - Another Day (and Way too Slow)

It's rather frustrating when you go to work only part time and the day just drags and drags and drags. I suppose it will be like this for a bit, since fire season is nearly done. My department is usually called on medicals more than anything else anyway, but even those calls have been limited. Not that I'm eager for people to be in trauma, I just want to have something to do.

The guys are doing some training and I've actually asked to participate (at least it's something and learning is lifelong, right?).  On Friday, they'll be doing some testing on a new structure and I asked if I could go. The Chief seemed surprise, but happy to allow it. That's two hours of "field tripping" so, even if the paperwork is limited, I'll only have an hour or two of actual office work.

It was another high salt, high cheese day. I did drink my two liters, however, so that was good. I .2lb loss, taking me back to my LIW of 174.6lbs. I've been trying to watch the salt but, when the cheese/dairy goes up, so does the salt. I'll try to balance a bit better. My fat and protein was extremely high today. I hope that counters all the salt I had. I guess we'll see.



Oh! Hubby was off, so we met and went to the movies for lunch. I enjoyed the movie, but the writing was lacking (it was Riddick, after all). Here's what I had today:
