My coworkers threw me a "brunch" today...a private celebration to say goodbye. It's so weird that, after this week ends, I won't see any of my coworkers again until July. After that, February. I'm sure I'll go into social-shock when this all happens. I'm so used to being around people. I hope I'll be okay and not turn into a hermit.
The brunch was fairly healthy save one delicacy that crossed my lips. These devilish things:
Someone had the nutrition content on Daily Plate for this Kouing Aman, but I don't know how accurate it is. If it's true, my fat content is out the door. If not, I may still be all right. Either way, TOM is here and it makes no difference whatsoever. History shows that my water retention takes days after TOM leaves to vacate. I'm not going to stress over this at all (cortisol, you know). I drank all my water today like a good girl. That always makes a difference, too. Oh, and I enjoyed the salad that was provided more than any other treat. I'm sort of proud about this idea that I can handle sugar in small doses and not gorge.
Here's what I think I may have (at least, it's close):
