R2, P3, Day 11 - Up and Up and Up

Not happy. I seem to be putting on a pound per day. Ugh! I'll probably have to do the dreaded three correction steak days in a row after this bloody conference, just to get this weight off. I've been so diligent about watching everything and only eating protein and just a few slim veggies. Today, my buddy and I decided the hotel is putting MSG in everything. We're sure that's why I have lots of water weight and why she can't seem to shake her headache. Blast!


Breakfast:

Eggs
Bacon
Green Tea


Lunch:
3 ounces Crab meat
avocado
swiss cheese
Salad with balsamic vinaigrette
small amount of coleslaw

Dinner:

Romaine lettuce
dressing (house)
roasted chicken
toasted Parmesan

Water, water, water and coffee with no cream today. I'll probably be up a pound again tomorrow. So frustrated (but I will try and take Susan's advice and try not to let this get to me - commence "chilling out" right?)! Today I was 143.6lbs. The best thing that came out of today was that I one an Ipod shuffle during the raffle (Um, we already have three but hey, it's great when you win, right?).

I feel your pain, I really do! Keep on doing your best.
As far as the steak days go, I've read that doing corrective days in a row doesn't work, because the metabolism figures out what you're doing. It's recommended that you do one corrective day, followed by a normal day, then another corrective, another normal, another corrective. Steak days aren't the only option either. There's the apple and cheese day too. There's a great resource at happilythinnerafter.com, they have an ebook for $10 with a bunch of different corrective days. Good luck and keep breathing!

Thanks again, Susan. I'll take your advice. I'll have a steak day tomorrow, and a normal day Sunday. Then, a steak day on Monday, etc.... ;)
