My youngest had her doctor's appointment today with a specialist, regarding something we found a few weeks ago. Turns out, she will need surgery. My heart is heavy, but I am hopeful. I will spend the other blog speaking about the emotions going through me but they played heavily upon me today, which (I'm sure) affected my protocol. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
First off, I didn't get all my water. Not because I didn't want to, but because I was at the hospital for so long. I never found an opportunity to fill my water bottle for the last time. Also, if I don't get it in before 5:00pm, I'm up all night. I allow myself the cup of decaf for dinner but that's it.
Secondly, I didn't eat well. Granted, I got in more calories than yesterday but I totally ditched my veggies at lunch and I didn't eat all of my dinner. The calculator isn't adjusted for the stuff I left on my plate. I'm just too tired to care about the small things right now.
Thirdly, I'm tired. Boy, am I tired. I will take my vitamin supplement for sure tomorrow to hold off the tired feelings. It's really a switch from the boost the HCG seems to give. I can totally tell it's leaving my system. I suppose this is something to get used to for my move to P3. I'm nearly half way there.
Observations - I read somewhere that it takes 20 consecutive times of doing or undoing something, to establish it as habit. These meals are certainly habit for me, now. I hope that my sometimes faulty memory remembers that I did all this and can remember that good, healthy eating habits can be established too.
Here's what I ate:
March 18th, 2010
Calorie goal: 1,092; calories consumed: 413; calories burned: 0 Net calories: 413 Mood: Tired
Can definitely tell the HCG is pretty much out of my system. I'm so tired! On top of that, had to take Indy to the doctor's and found out she'll need surgery. It has not been the best of week's for me. On the bright side, I did have a more than one pound loss from yesterday. Hadn't seen one of those since March 7th. Pretty good. [edit this diary entry]
