Day 15 VLCD - Stay Away from the Food Court

(I'm a day behind. The following post reflects Friday, March 12, 2010):


The family and I had to go to the mall (which is where the Ver.izon kiosk/store is located). We were changing out our AT.T phones. The process always takes a while (changing phones and phone plans) but our rep was moving fairly swiftly. Unfortunately, the store is right alongside the food court. Oh, and it was 6:00pm, my standard dinner time. It was so, very hard. I hadn't taken my L-Glutamine so, it was just me and my will keeping me from running to the Chinese place for noodles and lovely, mandarin chicken.

Despite the torcher, I didn't succumb and we left with lovely new phones and ravenous appetites. We had to stop at the store and return videos. My dear hubby left that to our daughter, while he picked up more crab meat for me. What a guy. Fresh is always better, but the packaged was pretty good too. I think I should have had more protein during the day, though. I think that would have helped with my appetite as well.

I had terrible cravings in the evening. Not only did I miss taking my L-Glutamine, but we were running errands. Dinner time came and went and boy, did I feel it. It also didn't help that we were at the mall (getting our new phones) right alongside the food court. Not good. [edit this diary entry]

I didn't lose a full pound, but I did have a loss. The scale read 171.4 this morning. I didn't drink my entire 80 ounces, yesterday nor did I do it today (although I got close, drinking 72 ounces). The closer I get to TOM the less I want my water. Unfortunately, this is the time I need to be drinking more of it. I'll work on that.
