R3, P2, VLCD 6 - Happy November

Happy All Saint's Day! Nobody talks about this one. Halloween gets all the props. Although I'm not catholic, I believe I've got an "in" with St. Francis of Assisi. I've always had a way with animals and it seems I've passed that gift along to my children.

I had a gain (slight, and not unexpected) and since I had orange roughy for dinner, I'm wondering if I'll have another tomorrow. It's one of those fishes that is a bit oily and usually causes a rise in my weight for a day or two. The nice thing is that, just after an oily void (I know...too much information), I have a nice loss. We shall see if the same holds true on this round.

I'm already dreaming of P3 (which should coincide the week of Thanksgiving) and am itching for all my yummy, cheesy favorites. I don't dare make any of those treats while I'm on P2, for fear of cheating. I'm the exception; everyone on the boards has the hardest time with their second round, while I'm doing all I can to scheme on my third. I hope this doesn't happen again (if there is a need for a fourth round in the future). Here's what else I had today:

November 1st, 2010

Calorie goal: 1,387; calories consumed: 430; calories burned: 0 Net calories: 430
Mood: Guilty

Well, if nothing else, the protocol proves that salt is not part of the abnormal fat supply. I had a .4lb gain due to water retention and, perhaps, starch in my hot and sour soup. Will do better today. [edit this diary entry]

I had a .4lb increase, which put me at 155 pounds on the nose this morning. Each day is a new beginning, though. The weekend is over and I was very good. Hopefully, my good deeds will server me in the morning.
