Hanging Tough! (um, insert NKOTB song here)

I'm still here and P4 is going well. I've put on about five pounds (I fluctuate between 144 and 146 most days). When things start to get scary, I'm around148 pounds. Then, I resort to a P3 diet for a day or so and everything calms down. All is well and I'm feeling great.

I think my hubby is very happy with my current size. He keeps telling me how well I'm maintaining and how others who have done this have sky-rocketed by 20lbs in just a month or so. I remind him that I may still do one more round after the vacation but, I have a feeling he would make me crazy the entire time. He already calls me frail. Frail? Me? Really?!

We went to the Earth, Wind and Fire concert this past weekend and, although we were nearly at the top of the mountain and could barely see, we had a great time. They've been together nearly forty years, according to Mr. Phil Bailey. Talk about longevity! Hubby and I had a ball dancing together and laughing at all the drunk people. Seriously! Do you need a 64 ounce bottle of tequila for a concert?

I bought the most amazing floor-length evening gown from JC Penney, of all places. It's for the vacation and I honestly can't believe how beautiful it looks on me. I didn't think it would but when I tried it on, weeks of searching came to an end. It was on super sale as well. I really wanted something with a lot of color but truly this was a case where less was more.

Work is kicking my butt and the primary reason why I'm not posting as often as I'd like. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are often 12-hour days. By the time work is over, the last thing I want to do is mess around with another computer (even if it is my personal computer). I'm still trying to get used to the schedule and I'm beginning to wonder if I ever will. The transition has been much harder than I thought.

Finally, our vacation is coming up quickly and I can't wait! Mainly because I'll get to play and sleep in till 7 or maybe 8 in the morning. Yep! That's sleeping in for me. October will bring to town my very best friend. I'm looking forward to that as well. Then, Thanksgiving in November and Christmas in December. You really have to have things to look forward to in life or, what's the point?

It's so good to hear that things are going well for you, and that maintenance is coming together for you as well. I think moderation, and balance are what it's all about, that and relaxing into the process, and you sound like you're doing exactly that!!

Have fun with your best friend, and have the best time on your vacation!
