I have been posting my weight in the column, neglecting to put it here where it's save forever. Here are the weeks past:

January 3rd - 190.6

January 10th - 186.6

January 17th - 184.4

January 25h (birthday) - 183.6 (I did make goal and lost five pounds before my birthday. Sweet!)

Doing Well


I'm down two pounds from last week, so I'm on the right track. Still not drinking nearly enough water. Do you know what my water bottle says? I should be drinking 92 ounces per day. My bottle has 20 ounces so, about 4 1/2 bottles. Seriously?! I think I'd be a slave to the toilet. Yeesh! Of course, I bet I'd be super svelte in no time. Wonder if I can do it....

A Four Pound Loss is Grand

A ten pound loss would be extraordinary! I hope that will be the case, soon. I'm still eating out and not drinking enough water. The eating out can be curbed a bit, but I don't believe in denial of anything (just portion control). I hope to increase my water intake but it's always difficult at first. Once I establish the habit, it's all good. I even find that I don't drink other liquids because I'm so hydrated. What a great side effect. That along with the detoxification the water provides is all good. Now, on to hydrating!

Hard to Give up the Spoon

Hubby came home early, last night. Pulled muscle groin had him in major pain (at least, that's what he thinks it is). He goes to the doctor on Friday and will ask her what she can determine. Anyway, he initially wanted to work out together last night (cardio) but that got nixed. No complaints, since we just spent a lot of time together. We took the babe to dance, scooted on over to a Block.buster that is closing it's doors.

Anyway, I would have gotten up and worked out but we were in the best spoon ever. Didn't want to let it go. I guess the work out will get pushed to this evening, after Indy's dance class. I'm trying to do something everyday (aside from Sundays). I've done pretty well so far. Double work outs would be best and will garner the best results, I know. The day after my double elliptical workout, I felt the hollowness I like. Can't wait till I'm comfortable in my tens again.

Day 2 and Progressing Nicely


As usual, I've gotten off to a good start. The meals aren't as vitamin rich as they should be, but I'm getting better. I've got to get back into the habit of updating the daily plate site. When the numbers are in front of me, I'm better able to maintain self control. Here are some immediate goals. I'm not going to post the old goals yet because I don't want to be too ambitious. After all, I am a woman approaching her middle thirties (for real?!).

I'd like to lose at least 5 pounds by my birthday (January 25th). Ten pounds by Valentine's day (then, I can look cute that day in something that fits). ;)

Can she do it? I think she can.

My Year of No Fear

So, it begins again. Can I do it this time and stick with it? It's always a test. We'll see....
