Actually Posting on a Saturday

So, I am 177.2 pounds today. I was digging through archive listings and seeing how I constantly battle these twenty or so pounds, each time dropping a little lower than the last time. Wouldn't it be crazy if I made it into the 140's this time? I might go into a fit or something! Still on the supplement with green tea, this time around. Had to take a caffeine pill because we were at the dealership and there was no green tea. Bummer. I really do prefer the tea. That form of caffeine seems to suit me.


(Human hair? Hmm...not sure I'll go there, but I do wear wigs with human hair....)

Another Goal Met

I'm so happy! Fifteen pounds gone (178.6), but boy it took a bit to get there. I will post the happy weight today, even though it's not Saturday, here in this post. I thought I'd reach the second goal a lot sooner than I did. Is it my age? Does it have to do with the activities I'm choosing for workouts? Yesterday, I turbo jammed my way into a major sweat. I was so sore last night, afterwards! Wow! Moving away from the elliptical turned out to be a good move. I hope to try out the P90X this week at some point. Not full force, but tweaked for me.

I'm using the supplement, minus the caffeine; however, I do drink a hot cup of green tea with it. I'm after the antioxidants and the more natural caffeine for aid. It does make a difference, I've discovered. Without the "boost" from the caffeine, I was feening and craving within an hour of two of taking the supplement.

Wearing my lashes today, too (they're much more subtle than the picture above). Not looking as glamorous as I'd like, because I only have a bit of blush on and lip gloss with them (they really pop if you wear liner and shadow underneath, but I didn't have time). I do know that I will get better at application, now that I'll be able to wear them more regularly. They are lovely.

Ate lots of salt yesterday. Bad, bad, bad! Worked out this morning on program four and burned 300 calories. It's lunch time, and before eating, burned 300 calories on program three. I feel clean...inside and out. I'm still eating more fast food than I need to, but much better eating than before. I also lost a bit last week and am close to my 15 pound loss goal. I hope I come even closer once the supplement begins again next weekend. Again, I am not incorporating the caffeine this time. It was a nightmare to come off of. I don't know how coffee addicts do it!

Anyway, worked out on program 3 this morning, paying close attention to my breathing and making sure I oxygenated my body. Burned 300 calories. [edit this diary entry]

A Discovery Regarding the Supplement

I was reading information about my homemade supplement that I saved and I discovered that the initial effects last for two weeks. I lost eight pounds in the first two weeks on the supplement, when I first started using it. I continued to lose after that initial drop, but it was much more steady (not as drastic). I eliminated a portion of the supplement because of my stomach issues (I have high acid) and I plan to eliminate another portion, only because of the addictive properties. There is a substitute to combat my stomach woes, but when I tried it, I found the canker sores came back with a vengeance. Low stomach acid, but more acid in my mouth (I guess?).

I wonder if it will have the same effects? I suppose if I don't see the same results in the first two weeks, I'll reincorporate the missing element (or it's more natural counterpart). I'll keep a close eye on it and see what happens. I'm very motivated, which is what has been missing for a bit.

About Two Weeks Behind

Yep, I'm not doing as well as I should with keeping this up, but I'm doing quite well on the daily plate. (Two weeks worth below). I'm finally back in the 170s, hitting 179.4 on Saturday. This after eating breakfast and getting on the scale and eating the birthday pizza the night before. How long will I be here, I wonder? I'm about a pound away from my goal of fifteen gone, but boy does it feel good to be so close! I feel better, look better, and my clothes are loose. I begin the supplement again next week (minus the caffeine. I just can't handle it!). I hope it still makes a difference in how I eat. Cycling off, by the way, has been very good for me. I'm glad the "trainers" suggested this.

It's sort of crazy. I pledged not to go nuts with the Babe's birthday party, and I kindof did. I ate two slices of delite pizza and a slice and a half of regular pizza, along with several ounces of Hawaiian punch and rum. Shortly after the eating, I had the BM to end all BMs (I know, TMI). Was it the oatmeal and triscuits cleaning me out? Probably. Whatever it was, I woke up feeling lighter, but I didn't weigh (I regret this, now).

After breakfast, I was still doubting how I felt. Could I really still feel lighter, even after breakfast? So, for kicks and giggles I stood on the scale. What? 179.4? What would it have been before breakfast, I wonder? I may have hit my second goal and didn't even know it. Dang!

No workout, yet. There's a kid still here. I have to do my youngest's hair and Henna mine for several hours. We'll see how it goes. [edit this diary entry]

Still dealing with the depression. Hubby had us finish off the Chinese leftovers. Not my intention, as I new it would encourage severe bloat from all the salt. Totally on point with that! Even though I worked out this morning for 51 minutes (at 3:30am, thank you) and burned 700 calories, I clocked in at 183.6. Ugh!

Worked out this evening on Program 4. Burned 300 calories. Still feeling super bloated (drank a lot of water to try to aid in the flushing process). Will I ever see the 170s again? [edit this diary entry]
